A Winter's Walk

Today, Brecken and I went out to enjoy the sunshine... There is a trail near our house that is a loop and it's the perfect length for a toddler. It took us about an hour and a half to go around- Brecken likes to stop often and explore.

Sorry for the hiatus. My Macbook is back, so I hope I can do a better job keeping up... The desktop and I just don't get along well...

Today Brecken and I did some baking... We made Whole Wheat Apple Muffins, and they turned out awesome- The sprinkled brown sugar on the top adds a crunchy touch.

Saturday on the Pond

I can't think of a better way to spend a cold Saturday in Canada than out on a pond.

This was Brecken's first time out on a pond. Both Dale and I learned to skate outside, so it was good to share part of our childhoods with him.
